Who this is about
Period Partner is for the person supporting someone through her cycle. The account is his. She has no login and cannot see what is stored. The data on the account is about her cycle because he logged it, not because she signed up.
Period Partner is operated by Nicolás Rodrigues. Questions about this policy go to hello@periodpartner.app.
What we collect
On his account we store:
- Email address and a hashed password.
- People he tracks: a name he chooses, the relationship (partner, wife, girlfriend, daughter, or other), and optional starting guesses for cycle and period length.
- Period start and end dates he logs.
- Optional day notes: mood, energy, pain, sleep, flow, symptoms, and a free-text note. Libido is only collected on profiles that are not a daughter.
- Messages he sends the in-app assistant, and the replies.
- Messages he sends through Support in the app, with the app version they were sent from.
- Device details needed to notify him: a push token, timezone, and the notification types he turned on.
- Signed-in sessions, so he can sign out everywhere.
- Usage analytics from the app: which screens are opened, when the app is opened or put away, and a short list of actions (signing up or in, adding a person, logging a period or a day, sending a message to the assistant or to Support, and viewing or completing a purchase). Each event carries the account's internal id, a random id for the install, the app version, the device model and system version, and the approximate location the analytics service works out from the connection. It never carries her name, dates, logged values, or the text of any message.
We do not ask her for an account. We do not collect precise location. This website has no checkout; any paywall lives in the app, not here.
How it is used
To run the app he asked for: derive a phase and a forecast from the dates he logged, show advice for that phase, send the notifications he switched on, and keep him signed in on his devices.
Those derived dates are estimates. They are not contraception and they are not a diagnosis. See Not medical advice.
Who else sees it
- Apple’s Push Notification service, so a notification can reach the device he registered.
- The mail service that delivers account emails: when the account is created, when a person is added or removed, and when the account is deleted. Those emails go to his address, say what happened, and say nothing about her cycle.
- OpenAI, only for accounts with the AI add-on and only while AI is switched on for the service: a de-identified summary of her day (her phase, estimates as relative days, and the scores logged today, never her name, exact dates or written notes), to write his daily tips, and his messages to the assistant, with her name and dates removed, to write its replies. Without the add-on, tips and replies come from the app's own content library and nothing leaves the server for a model.
- PostHog, in the United States, which receives the usage analytics described above so we can see which parts of the app are used and where people get stuck.
We do not sell this data. We do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
For as long as the account exists. When he deletes the account, the people he tracked, their cycles, their logs, his assistant messages, sessions, and push tokens are removed in the same request. Signing in again starts from nothing.
We keep one audit row that a deletion happened (the email and the time) so we can show the request was honoured. That row no longer points at an account.
How to delete it
In the app: open You, then Delete all the data. There is no waiting period and nothing to cancel. The server removes the account when he taps, and this phone is emptied and signed out.
Or write to hello@periodpartner.app from the address on the account. We will delete it the same way. More detail is on Support.
Not medical advice
Period Partner makes estimates from the dates he logged. It is not contraception. It does not diagnose. It does not replace a clinician. Severe pain, bleeding beyond eight days, or three months without a period are all worth a doctor.
Children
The app is for adults. A father may track a daughter’s cycle on his own account. That profile suppresses fertility, ovulation, and libido content. We do not offer accounts to children, and we do not knowingly collect from a child as a user.
This website
periodpartner.app is a static marketing site. It does not set tracking cookies, it does not require an account, and it does not run analytics scripts. Fonts are served from this same site.
If you ask to be told when the app launches, we store that email address, when you asked and which button you used, and use it only to send that one email.
